MEET OUR TEAM MEMBERS
Meet Tony King! Tony is a Storm Services’ Base Camp Manager, as well as a caterer. As a Base Camp Manager, Tony would be responsible for all the ins and outs that take place on a site. This includes such things as making sure all the equipment arrives on site, helping to lay the site out in the most efficient way, leading safety meetings, and overseeing the day to day operations for as long as the site is set up. Once the site closes, Tony would be responsible for being sure the equipment is torn down and removed in both the safest and promptest way possible. Tony is a strong leader, detail orientated, and a great problem solver. These are three qualities that make him a superb Base Camp Manager and Storm Services team member!
As a Storm Services’ caterer, Tony’s first responsibility on site is the set up of the catering trailer. He, along with the catering team, would also be cooking and serving all the delicious food that Storm Services is known for! Most customers request a hot meal for breakfast, a boxed lunch, and a hot meal for dinner, though at times we serve a hot meal for lunch as well. Once the site closes, Tony is responsible for tearing down the catering trailer.
Tony and his wife, Krista, often work side by side during a storm. When not working, they live in Herrin, Illinois, with their three children: Mason, Matilda, and Merritt. Tony is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he majored in business and marketing. He is an avid runner, enjoys photography, making videos, and traveling.
