THE BASE CAMP EXERCISE:
WE GET THE JOB DONE
This May, we hosted our 2018 Base Camp Exercise at our facility in York, Alabama. The theme was “WE GET THE JOB DONE.” Our team members gathered for two days’ worth of training, followed by our Customer Showcase on the third day. Team members were able to renew certifications, such as such as CPR, ServSafe, and Forklift Certification, and also received training on how to set up our equipment. This will contribute to our success in assuring that “we get the job done” when the time comes to set up a base camp during a storm. During the exercise, we also unveiled our new Team Up mentor program, participated in numerous team-building experiences, and had small round table discussions on how to do the job even better.
We were honored to have to opportunity to visit with numerous customers at the annual Meet and Greet, followed by the Customer Showcase the next day. Once in York, customers were able to tour our facility, take a peek at our new equipment, and meet our team members. The day included touring our much anticipated new compartment sleep trailer and shower trailer designs. Before departing, customers were treated to a delicious lunch prepared by our catering team in one of our catering trailers, just like we would do if activated for our base camp services.
