Continuing the education of our team members is very important to us here at Storm Services. Because of this, we come together at least once a year to train our team members. To kick off this year’s training, our Storm Services Engineering team leads gathered in York, Alabama, back in May. For three days, the team leads learned and discussed information that they will be able to take back to train our other team members.

UNFORGETTABLES
For Lee Hopkins, his most unforgettable Storm Services moment took place in 2012 at our facility in York, Alabama. Lee said he remembers receiving the activation call while vacationing in Panama City Beach, Florida. Lee packed up and headed to York, where he remained a full day before moving on to work on site in Ohio. Lee said, “When I arrived, there were over fifty trailers on the lot. I was immediately given the job of unloading and sweeping out one of them. It took me about thirty minutes to do this. By the time I finished, all the other trailers had been shipped out and directed to the sites.”

MEET OUR TEAM MEMBER
Jay Tyson graduated in 1994 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He currently lives in Cairo, Georgia, with his wife, Mandy, and two sons, Jack and Tucker. As a UGA graduate, he remains passionate about Georgia football, but also enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending time with his family.
